Welcome to Benevolent Therapy: A Place That Feels Like Home

We started Benevolent Therapy with one big dream in mind: to create a space where both clients and therapists feel at home. A place where therapy isn’t stiff or clinical, but real, warm, and—most importantly—effective.

For so many of us on the team, our own experiences in the mental health field shaped our vision. We worked in settings where therapy felt rushed, where numbers seemed to matter more than people, and where both therapists and clients were left feeling unseen. We knew therapy could be different, and we wanted to build something better.

A Different Kind of Therapy Experience

At Benevolent Therapy, we believe that healing happens when people feel truly heard and understood. That’s why we lean into who we are as humans first—showing up authentically, meeting clients where they are, and creating space for deep, meaningful work. We cuss sometimes, we laugh, we get real about life, because that’s what makes therapy actually work. It’s not about perfection; it’s about connection.

We built this practice for people who are tired of feeling like they have to hold it all together, who are exhausted from people-pleasing, who overthink every interaction, or who feel stuck in anxiety, trauma, or burnout. Whether you’re navigating relationships, stress, big life changes, or just trying to feel more like yourself again, we’re here for it.

A Safe Space for Therapists, Too

But it wasn’t just about creating a better experience for clients—we wanted something better for therapists, too. In this field, it’s easy for therapists to feel overworked, underpaid, and unsupported. That’s why we made sure Benevolent Therapy was different. Our team gets the pay, respect, and work-life balance they deserve. When therapists feel valued and supported, they show up as their best selves, and that means better therapy for everyone.

What We Offer

We offer individual, couples, and family therapy, as well as EMDR intensives for trauma work. Our therapists specialize in anxiety, people-pleasing, trauma, relationships, neurodivergence, and more. Each therapist brings their own unique style and strengths, but the common thread is that we all care deeply about the people we work with.

Ready to Get Started?

If you’re looking for a therapist who truly gets it, who won’t just nod and take notes but will actually engage with you, challenge you, and help you grow, you’re in the right place. Therapy isn’t about fixing you (because you’re not broken)—it’s about helping you feel more like yourself. And we’d love to be part of that journey with you.

Reach out to us to book a session or just to learn more. Whether you’re ready to dive into therapy or just want to see if we’d be a good fit, we’re here. Welcome to Benevolent Therapy. We’re so glad you’re here.
